Pippa Middleton Is Everywhere! Namedrops and Pop Culture References From Glee's "New York"


Namedrops abound on Glee. More often than not, a famous person's name is used as an insult to take someone down a peg or two — and that's something we totally support! To help you keep it all straight, we've compiled a list of the names and pop culture references deemed important enough to be dropped by Glee characters in “New York.” Did you catch them all?

Puck (Mark Salling), Sam (Chord Overstreet), Mike (Harry Shum Jr.), andArtie (Kevin McHale)  are poised to perform the romantic “Bella Notte” from Disney classic The Lady and The Tramp. But whose picture-perfect date are they helping make a reality? Get ready to squee!
Kurt (Chris Colfer): A year and a half ago, the New Directions were nothing but a group of six misfits, stumbling their way through a horrific rendition of “Sit Down, You’re Rockin’ the Boat.”

Blaine (Darren Criss): Tomorrow’s my audition for the summer show at Six Flags.

Kurt: Whereas I’m spending my summer composing Pip Pip Hooray, the Broadway musical about Pippa Middleton.
