Matt Leinart strikes (out) again! Kim's ex-friend Paris Hilton and Paris's then-boyfriend Matt introduced Kim and New Orleans Saints star Reggie Bush in the spring of 2007 at the ESPY Awards. The hot couple broke up in July 2009, blaming their busy schedules. (Reggie's shyness around cameras probably didn't help matters.) After Kim's sister Khloé tied the knot with L.A. Lakers star Lamar Odom on September 27, 2009, Kim began to miss Reggie and flew to see him. They started dating again in October 2009, but it didn't stick — they broke up once and for all in March 2010, supposedly because Kim didn't think Reggie was mature enough to start a family. (He partied with Paris Hilton less than a month later, so we'll trust her judgment on that one.)
After their split, Kim and Reggie had a chance encounter at a wedding on July 18, 2010 — his Saints teammate Bobby McCray was marrying Kim's friend Khadijaq Haqq. When Reggie approached Kim to chat about possibly getting back together, the combination of Kim's curve-hugging dress and the flowin' booze made him increasingly aggressive. According to TMZ, bodyguards had to pull Reggie away from Kim and call them separate cabs. Guess a Super Bowl ring isn't enough to guarantee a guy a Kardashian!
Even when a relationship is very dunzo, it still stings a little to hear an ex has moved on — especially if it’s permanently. So, we wonder: How didKim Kardashian’s ex, New Orleans Saint player Reggie Bush, handle the news of her engagement to beau Kris Humphries?
Apparently, not very well. Yep. Somebody’s a little salty!
The day news of Kim’s engagement broke, Bush was slated to attend a launch party for the Gumball Rally 3000 in London but was a no-show. The culprit? Partygoers are blaming news of Humphries’ proposal for Bush’s absence.
“We heard Kim got engaged, so we think that's why [Reggie] didn't turn up," one partygoer heard NFL player Cody Green say at the event. "He must be pretty cut up. He sounded like he was, and that was why he didn't make it down.”
But Bush better get it together, since he and Green are both participants in the rally, which is a “cross-Europe celebrity car race,” according toPopEater.
"It'll be just what he needs to get out on the road and party,” the source also overheard Green say.
Sure. There’s no better way to handle heartbreak than with a little R&R, or, you know, high-speed racing in a foreign country. Here’s to healing!

Kim’s fiance Kris Humphries not onlyput a (20.5-carat engagement) ring on it, he also had the inside of the ring inscribed with secret little love notes!
According to two insiders who talked with TMZ, Kris had two bible passages engraved on the ring that “have a special meaning for both Kim and Kris.”
For now the couple has decided not to reveal the specific passages printed on the ring. Good for them! We think that makes it all the more special.
