So you can get a 1TB hard drive for $80.... 12,000 of those.... not that big of an expenditure tbf.Go price out 12PB from Isilon and see how much it costs. It ain't $80 a TB.

For those having a hissy fit
The idea of paying $50 more makes some have a hissy fit while MOST are right to complain about it in a normal, reasonable way.
AT&T is obviously more than legally able to do this but it is obvious to anyone that they are doing it strictly to add more $ to their pockets. And the response to that will be that they are allowed to and that EVERYONE wants more money. Yes, and consumers are allowed to complain when companies do something STRICTLY to make them pay more.
There is really no reason for AT&T to do this other than to make consumers pay more. When AT&T does this, they should expect a backlash

I am trying to create a basic "lyrics video" similar to the one in the link below. I am able to get the text to super impose over the pic but I can't figure out how to make it so that 3-4 lines of text show. Instead. only one long line of text shows up. Would appreciate if someone could point me in the right direction.

If you change your plan, you WILL lose any rollover minutes you have accumulated over the past year. Remember too that rollover minutes are only good for a year. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.
when you change your plan the roll over minutes go with you if you move up in plans. They carry over to the max if you move down in plans. If you have 1000's of roll over minutes you are paying too much per month all ready.

I have really been thinking of finally getting an iPhone.. but after hearing all these battery issues I am starting to think otherwise. IDK.. we'll see. At least its not as bad as the Thunderbolts 3-4hr battery!! LOL!! Thats just pathetic.

I want a device the size of an ipod that I can check my mail on, chat, and do some web-surfing for info, all without the ridiculous GUI deformities of windows mobile and treo, etc. and simple, easy to use hardware to back it up. I want to take it out of my pocket, see what I want, then put it away. Seamless integration with my macs as well.
Geez, dude. Relax a bit. Read a book, do a crossword, eat lunch in the park and listen to the birds. Why do people feel like they have to always be "on" and instantly accessible? Value the time you have that's your own.

It's amazing just how few (3 so far that I can count) SERIOUS and thoughtful replies to this thread there have been. It almost seems that without personal attacks or social distress we have nothing to talk about... even when faced with the amazingly detrimental economic situation described in the OP.

I agree on the copying for own use. You should not be limited on something you have purchased. But you put 'profit' at the end of your 'list' that to me means you also sell the copies.

Is there a way to set iPhoto '11 to import just photos from my iPhone and not the videos? I have iPhoto '09 and apparently there is no way to prevent it from importing videos unless you manually deselect them. I want to be able to just connect my iPhone and sync just the photos off automatically. Then open iMovie and sync the videos off.
I know you can do this with Aperture but how about the new iPhoto?

great, now Toast can concentrate on compatibility issues on the DVD-R side... i've had nothing but problems with my Plextor 716A (DL) and I can't burn higher than 2x without underrun errors on either my new MBP or the Plextor. Different media hasn't helped.

Here it is. The original images were created on Adobe Photoshop and the Gif was compiled on Adobe Fireworks.

Mi powerbook g4 wont boot. I just erase and reinstal mac osx, reset NVRam, and use disk utilities to repair HD. But nothing seams to work and in fact i belive it came out worts. The sytems works perfect in safe mode, but in normal mode it just stay in a blue screen, the fan continue to work but nothing else happens.
I reallyneed help because no mac service will be available for some days and I am in desperate need to work on my laptop.

Kindle Free 3G + Wifi version... was only expecting the wifi version, and was pleasantly surprised. :)
Other than this... I got a safe and Blur for Xbox 360. Oh, and Santa had my full carry pistol permit delivered in the mail Christmas Eve! (hence the safe)
Overall, good, lean Christmas. I didn't get stuff I didn't need. So glad as to have not had my loved ones waste their money on unnecessary items.

Yes, it is possible. I don't know how to do it on a Mac, but for Windows, you need to make and image of the DVD using DVD Decrypter and then encode it in xvid using AutoGK.
