...americans help me out here there is a store in NY that does electronics.....SNAP just came to me there its called JR Electronics !
Actually there are more than 4 stores in NYC--in manhattan proper, yes just those 4, but staten island has one, i don't think any other borough does yet tho
and beyond those and best buy, save your gas. J and R does not carry the iPad as of yet. accessories only.

A friend told me I can't boot OSX from Raid. So would that mean I cannot install Lion on my HD if it is currently in the optibay where the superdrive used to be?
You don't have any kind of RAID in your computer and your friend is wrong too. OS X should boot fine from the ODD bay, Windows not so well.

If it is, I'm afraid your only choice is to capture with iMovie - save everything else for FCX.
It's not all that inconvenient - exept you'll be importing non-intuitive clips names "Clip 01", "Clip 02", etc. You'll have to rename them in your browser to keep your sanity.

Panic Software (www.panic.com (http://www.panic.com/)) gets my vote. I think their software is great and the company seems young and fun too - seems to reflect the general mac user base very well..!

Thanks for the review. I am really excited about this product and will be getting one when i get an iPod Photo for sure. I have a question that I have not heard anywhere. Does the Camera Connector support USB 2 with cameras that support it, or is it strictly USB 1.1? If it did USB 2 that would be awesome. I will probably buy it either way, but just curious.

Hi again,
I managed to solve the problem. My UIViewController subclass as configured correctly. The problem was in the configuration of the Navigation Controller. I had to Specify the Class name in IB for the UIViewController embedded in the Navigation Controller. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

The name is good! I like the idea of adding Umlauts. It will highlight the difference between 'Published� & 'Pablshed�. But you need to work more on logo. It can be improved. All the best!

To use iFile to install a deb, here is how I do it:
Download the .deb to your computer.
Open iFile on your ipod, and click on the WiFi logo on the bottom.
A page of text will display, with a url at the end, something like "http://192.168.xxx.xxx:10000".
Enter the url into the browser on your computer.
A root directory of your ipod will appear in the browser, with an upload box.
Use the upload box to put the .deb somewhere on your ipod, like in /tmp.
In iFile, tap Done and browse to the .deb, and tap it, then tap Installer in the menu. It should then install.

Why not just make a website ? What you describe sounds like it would be more appropriate as a good old website that is device agnostic than a native app anyhow.

to get your VHS source onto your computer it would have to be digitized first. So either you digitized the video or someone did it for you. How this was done determines the base quality of your DIGITAL source. It can't be better than your source, but it can be converted to a more useful or less useful digital format (h.264 = more / mpeg2 = less for example).

you can only do video in on the 2011 27" imacs if the device your plugging in has thunderbolt. (i.e. 2011 macbook pros)
